Who is behind About Me For Myself?
Me, myself, and I.
I am married with no kids.
I worked as a pharmacist for 17 years and retired from full-time employment last year at the age of 44.
We have been vegan since 2012. I thought that it would come up more in writing, but it is so second nature, I don’t have anything new to say about it. Also, I post all the vegan stuff over at VeganCLT.
In a previous life, I was almost a journalist and have always felt the need to do some sort of nonsense website blogging.

What is About Me For Myself?
It is a website where I can post whatever I want with the primary intention that it is in fact for myself. It’s primary goal is not one specific topic or limited area of focus. If my interests change, so does the site.
The use of About Me For Myself (AMFM) originated back in college 2 when I simply made a document to solidify my likes and dislikes.
The Question I Would Ask:
“Hey Asshole, if it is for yourself, why are you posting it all online?”
Fair question. I guess I can’t get myself to actually write when it is just going to be hidden in a drawer and I have some innate need to write in some fashion. It is more therapeutic for me to publish it to the world then not write at all. Plus, it gives me the false sense that maybe something I put together could be useful to somebody.
